got Izzy back yesterday.  they said the alternator is working fine but my battery wasn't holding a charge any more.  well, they replaced the battery but the battery light is still coming on while i drive so i'm not as sanguine about the alternator as they are.  taking her back in tomorrow to get looked at.  bleh.  maybe i can convince them to do it ( Read more... )
