well, it's all out of my hands now. i FedExed the package with my thesis and everything yesterday morning (and oh boy was that expensive). the FedEx website has it listed as delivered as of fifteen minutes ago. now i just have to count on the department grad secretary (who is awesome) to get all the signatures, assemble the copies into binders, ( Read more... )

and i'm even a day ahead of schedule. everything is signed, printed, and packaged. the only thing left to do is mail it off. of course, i'm going to spend a fortune mailing it since i have to use a super speedy method. how nicely everything has come together here at the end makes me wonder why i delayed so much. okay, no it doesn't i delayed ( Read more... )

not bad at all.  i spent the majority of my weekend sitting on the couch with my computer.  i have the stiffness in my neck, shoulders, lower back, and knees to prove it.  but i guess i got a lot done.  this is all that's left of my to-do list:

after working at The Children's Place for eight months, the payroll department has finally managed to get my direct deposit straightened.  mind you, i filled out the paperwork on my first day.  okay, there were a few "extenuating circumstances" that weren't their fault, even one delay that might have been my fault, but i still entirely blame them ( Read more... )

got an e-mail from my advisor today asking if i'd sent the translator the final version of my abstract, so he could translate it into French. ummm...yeah! sent that two weeks ago! now i have less than a week left to have everything finished and photocopied, and i have no fucking "Resume"! well, they can bloody well make the copies of that...
