for the most part, i never open my mail. or even look at it. whoever brings it in dumps it on my desk and when the pile get so high i can't see the bottom of my monitor i half-heartedly go through it and shred/recycle it all. this is because all of my bills are paid automatically online and therefore anything else will probably be junk mail. On Wednesday, I got most of my hair chopped off. I think the longest section now is maybe two inches. It's all spiky and messy and razor-cut and there's this huge swath of purple in the front. My mom and I are starting a program aimed to reduce the use of plastic bags in stores. Already, a few chains are going to paper-only, but it would be great if everyone used re-useable bags instead.
