Covered in cats

This morning when I awoke all 4 cats were on the bed with me. This is somewhat unusual. Most of the time at least one of them refuses to be in the same area with one of the others. Two cats were cuddled up against me. The other two were on Eldred's unoccupied side of the bed. It was lovely. I was able to sleep in because Monday is my day to work

Freya loves to go into the basement. Frequently Fergus doesn't know she's down there, and she gets herself shut in when he comes upstairs. (I don't acknowledge that the basement exists - it's his domain - I hate those steps.) Freya stopped going into the garb closet after the third time she got stuck in there for 12 hours while we were at an event, but she doesn't quite "get it" when it comes to the basement. I've gotten to the point that if I don't see her within 20 minutes of getting home I just go check the basement automatically.
