Eldred has already written about the adventures with the vet. I was very relieved when he called yesterday morning to say Ignatius was out of surgery and doing well. Ignatius has had vile breath for months now. When we took him to the vet in June for his regular checkup, there wasn't anything really amiss with his teeth and gums. This morning I got quite a bit accomplished before work. First I took Josie and Kiera to the vet for their annual checkup and shots. I captured Kiera by putting out tinned food. As dragonazure said, Kiera had a big mat on her back. Plus she had lots of dandruff on her back. Sigh... Last night I was in the office. Ignatius, as usual, jumped onto the desk and plunked himself down in front of the monitor. A short time later, Kiera jumped onto the desk to nuzzle Ignatius. The cats like to jump on my desk because I have the computer monitor pushed to the back, leaving lots of lounging room. Ignatius is currently sacked out in front of me on the desk. In an effort to answer the question, I set up an 8-strand braid on the marudai and tried a couple of different setups with the blue and white I already had ready.
