So the area was pretty bleak, but then it wasn't like Graham had expected paradise outside the city walls. It was an added plus to get to ride Ironhide since the truck seemed rather picky about who he let inside, but the mechanic and Mikaela had brought up some reasonable points the last time they'd all been together. That and it was either them or worse yet- random soldiers!
Once at the area in question, Graham surveyed what they were able to see from their position, one hand stuffed in the pocket of the coat he wore over his usual jumpsuit, the other grasping, as usual, the over-sized wrench he had naturally brought along. "And what does this story's chapter hold for us? Something exciting and new, I hope! So do we get to go and play yet?"
((OOC: Hope you don't mind my assuming, 'hidey, 'kaela~♥))

Although, Ironhide really wasn't one to talk. He was just as anxious to move, to do something besides hunker down in the piles of discarded bits and pieces, waiting. But now, it seemed he had little to look forward to besides being used as a wall of all things. How was he supposed to be of any use just sitting here?
He rocked on his wheels, resisting the urge to rev his engine, or spin his tires. He had to play the part of Graham's truck. It was worse than pretending to be Lennox's. At least the major had a sense of what was, and what wasn't respectful for a fellow soldier. He was treated like an equal. Not like... whatever it was the blonde human thought he was.
Or these soldiers.
"What do they want to accomplish just sitting here?" he growled, through the radio.

Graham drummed his fingers next to the window. It wasn't that he didn't respect the truck, but then Ironhide might not understand how the man's reasoning worked towards it. Clearly the truck was an intelligent individual and much more than just another pretty vehicle set to be dismantled by his skilled and anxious hands. That wasn't to say that Graham wouldn't like to dismantle the truck, given the chance, but then where would that get him? There was only one Autobot and once that was broken, he'd be left with scraps. No, no good. No good at all!

He stepped on the top of some ruins of a building which once stood tall and proud, and looked around. It was his first time being outside of the city, and he suspected that it would be a long time before he would be able to come out again.
He hung back as the tanks were brought out to collect whatever fuel they could find, instead choosing to survey the area for any sightings of the zombies.

He doesn't go too close, choosing only to stand to one side, and watch.

'Still feeling protective, eh?' Hallelujah piped in when his gaze returned to Lockon, to ensure everything's fine. Right now they were looking while keeping in distance to check more of the surroundings. So far their search haven't proved successful.
"Keep quiet." Allelujah murmured sternly, keeping his voice so quiet it won't be heard by the other two.

On the other hand, Lockon noted that they didn't spot actual corpses either, whatever it meant.
He rushed towards Allelujah, trying to give a hand sign to Jadzia, to join them when she had moment. "I think there is library or hospital down this street." he pointed in the direction he came from, huffing and puffing slightly. "Not sure how far, because the signs were damaged." If they were going to search for info about infection, hospital seemed like a good idea.

"The buildings don't look too stable here. We need to be extra careful."

He held no love for that place, but the memories of his comrades made him feel even more lonely then he had been recently. Clearly in his mind he could see the ghosts of his tribe going about their business like they did back in Muladhara.
With a sigh he turned into the open, barren area. It was a dangerous place to be in his mind. Too wide open with no real cover should an enemy attack. So he stuck to the outskirts for now, walking around rather then straight across.

Of course, Veles had a similar feeling, but all the humans still living there tended to mask it.
Laharl wandered the place, less with the intention of actually helping out like he was supposed to, and more with the thought of waiting for something dangerous to show up. The open space of the former park didn't intimidate him, and he walked into it almost as though inviting trouble. He noticed Cielo, but only glanced briefly his way.

"Oh yeah. That looks like a fun place. Whaddya say?" he said, grinning over his shoulder.

"Some sort of treatment facility," he rumbled. "Unable to tell if the water is safe for human consumption... keep away from it."

"It's probably pretty gross. Wasn't planning on drinking it..."
