Here is the quarter of the city that has the skeleton like buildings that are in danger of falling over. Be careful not to move too much around in this area, or something may collapse!

Allelujah kept his hand near the gun mainly on reflex, though the creepiness of the surroundings was a good indicator that next moment they could encounter zombies, or have a close meeting with part of one of the ruined buildings around. After deciding to join Jadzia and Neil, their group was looking for any documents that could give insight into the last moments before this city fell.

'Still feeling protective, eh?' Hallelujah piped in when his gaze returned to Lockon, to ensure everything's fine. Right now they were looking while keeping in distance to check more of the surroundings. So far their search haven't proved successful.

"Keep quiet." Allelujah murmured sternly, keeping his voice so quiet it won't be heard by the other two.

Keeping each other within sight seemed like a good idea. Just like "proceed with utmost caution" rule. For now the city seemed pretty dead, but who knows when it decides to turn "un-dead"? If ever, in fact. They were constantly told about danger from zombies yet they haven't managed to truly see any for longer period of time.

On the other hand, Lockon noted that they didn't spot actual corpses either, whatever it meant.

He rushed towards Allelujah, trying to give a hand sign to Jadzia, to join them when she had moment. "I think there is library or hospital down this street." he pointed in the direction he came from, huffing and puffing slightly. "Not sure how far, because the signs were damaged." If they were going to search for info about infection, hospital seemed like a good idea.

Allelujah nodded at those words and signaled Jadzia to follow them, before walking in the direction Lockon came from, though careful to not lose sight of her.

"The buildings don't look too stable here. We need to be extra careful."

"Hey, give lady a moment." Lockon stopped in the middle of walk, noticing that they were drifting too far apart. "Let's wait, she'll join us. Perhaps she found something too, that's why it's taking time."

It allowed him also to catch breath a bit. Even for hangoverred bastard, Allelujah seemed better fit for this kind of job. "She's your room-mate, right?"

"Right, sorry." Allelujah used the pause to draw the scouted area on the map. Half of his attention was on the surroundings while the other half focused on Lockon. He made a mental note to slow down a bit once they're moving again.

"She is. From all the Gate Walkers I think she's most trustworthy here." he explained, hiding paper and pencil again in the pocket. Then, he added in much quieter voice "She knows about Hallelujah."

She had found something, or thought she had. With an eye on the building and another on her companions, each sparing a glance for the mysteriously absent undead every few moments, she moved aside a small pile of bricks and lifted a broken piece of skull from within. There didn't seem to be much more than a few stray fragments, but it still showed that not every dead person came back to life. She lifted her eyes to the building, but there wasn't anything telling her what was inside. No sign, nothing. Frowning, she finally stood, playing with the fragment of bone in her fingers as she walked towards the two men.

"Whatever happened here, it's been years," she said in a soft voice as she came onto them. "I don't know how the weather patterns have been since this started, but it's been at least five years, I'd guess." She lifts the bone. "Without proper tests, I can't be sure, but I'd guess that's how long this guy's been there, possibly longer."

"Are you going to bring it back?" Lockon pointed at the bone "For proper testing, I mean." He wasn't sure how others in the group, or people inside the city would react on bringing corpses. And something was telling him, that they wouldn't be too happy about it. Which only meant they would need a way to hide it.

Still, it had to be the first dead he saw here, and wondering on what exactly could that mean, was making his head spin.

At least five years, according to Jadzia. It was definitely interesting, and fit various bits and pieces of information. Allelujah looked at the bone fragment, interested in the possibilities it brought.

"Perhaps we'll find something in the hospital records, or in the library. According to the signs, although most are damaged."
