Moving logistics...?
Have any of y'all moved cross country before? Rich and I are moving from Georgia to Altadena, CA in September and we're trying to determine what our moving costs and options are. Anyone have any advice?
We're thinking about climate-controlled storage for our extra furniture if we can find someplace affordable. Anyone ever shipped their pets? -

Beautiful spring day
Today was absolutely gorgeous. I went over to my Uncle's hoping to ride; but lord knows what he's done with his trailer because it wasn't there (and therefor neither were the bridles). Instead I spent an hour or two giving all the critters fresh water, hunting horseshoes and trash out of the pasture and playing with the horses. It's amazing how ( Read more... ) -

Help! Artist &/or technology types!
I just went to use my scanner with my new computer only to discover...they hate each other. Hypatia (my computer) even went so far as to inform me she does not recognize my scanner at all and even if she did they would never be compatible (actually the websites I looked up said they were incompatible models, but I found it funnier coming from 'Tia ( Read more... ) -

Been working hard trying to get some action and emotion into this latest piece. I'm in the middle of inking it, but I think it will turn out okay. I'm certainly happy with the stallion on top anyway!

Also, last night I got to participate in Dana Ruth's PMC class. I am in so much trouble; it was a ridiculously fun technique to learn. I want to play with it again! -
