Have any of y'all moved cross country before? Rich and I are moving from Georgia to Altadena, CA in September and we're trying to determine what our moving costs and options are. Anyone have any advice?

We're thinking about climate-controlled storage for our extra furniture if we can find someplace affordable. Anyone ever shipped their pets?
