Summary: Emily shouldn't want to know the things she finds out even if she does likes it afterwards

A/N: Once again, I labeled the sections as chapters though they are very short.
A/N: Also once again, this hasn’t been beta’d, so all mistakes are mine alone.
A/N: There is a lot of backstory here that isn't included. I might be able to be persuaded to put that into writing.
A/N: This deals with bondage and discipline. I am not in the lifestyle so it is probably all bull*, but know that the characters don't view themselves as being in the lifestyle. It applies to certain aspects of their personal lives so that they have an area where they may relax.
Irv chuckled as he read the interview with a child psychologist who was floating a run for the State Senate. It was delicious the way the man spoke of the damage that divorce had upon the psyche of children. Five minutes later he had to call out to have his door closed as the man discussed helicopter parenting and long distance parenting in such disparaging terms.
Irv almost called the Super PAC right then and there to donate another twenty grand to see the man elected. He looked at his schedule noting that he needed to cancel two events because he couldn't risk being seen with the man now that he'd provided such lovely ammunition against Miranda.
Next Friday, though, he had a fund raiser for the first responders of New York City, and two of the board members who were neutral with regards to the Dragon Lady would be there. Both of them were married with wives that worked only part-time so that they could spend time with their children. Better yet, neither were bleeding heart liberals who would discount the information from the article as political grandstanding. And, as long as Roger Clarke abstained he didn't need as many votes.
With luck in another month or two he could cut Miranda's feet from under her.
