Just saw "Coup d'Etat," "Michael," and "Inferno" for the first time. Yes. I know. Bad duskwings. I've been busy, and I kind of wasn't feeling the fandom love for a while. But I decided to try and revive it, and I think it worked. Because ... well, here's where I start in the spoilers:

I have finally got around to watching "The Long Goodbye," after months of impatient -- and quite spoiled -- waiting. And this is my running commentary for it, as chock-full of profanity and incoherence as the last three:

I've been noticing what I consider to be a recent trend in fandom -- that a lot of het-shippers have a crush/girl-crush on the female half of their ship. ( Cut for length, over-generalization, and unfounded theories -- your basic bad meta. :P )

Am currently contemplating an Atlantis filk of "Brave Sir Robin Ran Away," with John as "Sir Sheppard, the not-quite-so-chaste as Sir Ronon." With lyrics such as "Chaste Sir Sheppard fucked a girl, he chastely fucked a girl," how can it go wrong?

Oh, right. I'm lazy. Never mind.

My running episode commentary for the three episodes that I just watched ... probably not too coherent, and filled with large amounts of random squeeing and profanity. (Because evidently, I have a dirty mouth when I type fast.)
