Oh, it's so on! All the Impulse pics for Wieringo Week over at Project: Rooftop got me thinking about another awesome teen superhero that got the short end of the stick, Stephanie Brown AKA Spoiler, who later took on the mantle of Robin, sidekicking for the Dark Knight for a short stint before being fired and killed off, I believe, by Dan Didio. Or something like that.
ANYWAY, there's a lot of love for Steph out there, especially since her untimely demise and subsequent lack of remembrance in the hallowed Bat Cave. Girl-Wonder.org is devoted specifically to female superhero representations, and is named for the one in-continuity non-BOY wonder. So show Steph some love and help her out with her costuming. I liked bits of her costumes as both Spoiler and Robin, but I never thought they totally worked.
For my new Spoiler pic above, I'm going for a back-from-the-dead, Spoiler Steph, bringing in elements from her Robin costume (actually, my version of her Robin costume, see below), but striking back out on her own. Below, I've reposted my old Girl Wonder pic, showing Steph as Robin, but updating her costume, which I always thought was overly complicated.
