NaNoWriMo
So I hit over 10,000 words today and got to meet a few other NaNo writers, which was fun (and productive)! I'm really happy to have this thing already over 20% done. If I keep this up, I'll be at least two days ahead tomorrow, if not more. I only need 2,079 words tomorrow to be two days ahead and I'm going to be pushing myself this weekend to ( Read more... ) -
Moving Pains
I have to say that, as much as I have moved over the latter half of my life, I hate it more now than I ever did. Moving was not so bad when I did not have a house full of things to pack up and then unpack only to wonder where the hell I'm going to put them all. The Sleepy Thoughts
Last night it took me over an hour to finally get to sleep. This was largely due to the fact that my brain was in overdrive even though my body was exhausted. Different, random thoughts and questions were flitting through, making themselves known and threatening to brand themselves into my grey matter if I did not get them out in some form. Moving!
So amidst all the hustle and bustle of this last week, I completely spaced on posting my absolutely spectacular news. Trev and I have signed a rental agreement for a new place. Plans and Problems
The upstairs neighbours are yelling at each other yet again and I can feel the headache rising at the back of my skull already. The night before last, they were yelling at each other until almost 2:00 in the morning and were at it again at 8:00 the same morning. I cannot WAIT to get out of this place. Addicted...
I often find songs that I really like and get temporarily addicted to them. It's nice in a way because I will listen to them constantly and learn all the lyrics, but at the same time it's bloody annoying because I can't stop listening to them. Even when I'm not listening to the song, it's absolutely stuck in my head and I hear it. Why is this? ( Read more... ) -
