So it's been a big few days...
..and I feel like that crushing weight has been lifted off of my chest and for the first time in weeks I can breathe freely and deeply.
So much has happened.
So much has been said.
So many secrets have been shared.
There has been laughter.
There have been tears.
And there have been a few awkward silences in between.

Yesterday was my little mans 3rd birthday.
We had a party (as per his request) with cake, hats and marshmallows.
All in all, he had a ball!!

Egg donation stuff
The IVF coordinator called me yesterday to tell me that they had finalised their recipient list and that they have decided on an egg recipient.
They wanted to know if it was ok to give her my number so that we could meet up, become "known donors", and skip the (rather lengthy 6 month) quarantine period.
My answer, as always, was yup, yup, and yup.

Big boy bedrooms
So last week Bec and I decided it was time to start setting up Rys big-boy room in preparation for Skittles arrival.
Bec managed to find an excellent single bed for an amazingly low price, and instead of painting we decided to use decals and go with a spaceman theme (more glow-in-the-dark decals to come!).
