Egg donation stuff
The IVF coordinator called me yesterday to tell me that they had finalised their recipient list and that they have decided on an egg recipient.
They wanted to know if it was ok to give her my number so that we could meet up, become "known donors", and skip the (rather lengthy 6 month) quarantine period.
My answer, as always, was yup, yup, and yup.
So the recipient lady (let's call her "S") called me earlier on today and we are all going to catch up next Wednesday when her and her hubby come into town for her IVF appointments. They live 2hours west of here and don't come into town often so it seemed like the perfect opportunity.
So there it is.
Hopefully the whole process will be done and dusted by Christmas and I'll have control of my body back by New Years.
