Ferrets
There are places that ferret tongues should not go. Up my nose is definitely one of them. Thank you for some highly inappropriate grooming this evening Rob. Please never do it again.

Adoptions
Volunteering at the adoption event for our friend's animal rescue was surprisingly fun. Ended up spending 8 hours there instead of the 4 we planned, and may have successfully pimped the two ferrets we have been fostering at one of the employees. She and her three kids really want them and were interacting very well with them. Husband said no, but ( Read more... ) -

As I get older and cook more and more, I keep realizing that "traditional dish" means "we threw the things we had the most of and/or the only things we had at the end of the season/famine/war in a dish and baked/boiled it until they were edible." Silly
Started the day out with 8 hours of hardcore sleep followed by 2 hours of awesome dozing. Snuck a bike ride and some banana bread (peanut butter chips make everything better. Also whip cream) in before work. Then weird long day at work (allergies and Jehovah's Witnesses were involved.) Brain is oddly silly but too lazy to do anything. Watching ( Read more... ) -

I appear to be growing a third eye* in the middle of my chest. Some sort of weird infection that went from mildly annoying "guess I better make an appointment on Monday" yesterday to "my that's big" over the course of an hour this evening. It's always fun going to the doctor at 8:30pm on a Sunday. Hopefully the antibiotics will lessen it ( Read more... ) -
