I'm to the part of my renovations in the bathroom where I get to rip things apart and demolish stuff.  There's something inherently satisfying about  breaking apart old, ugly fixtures and cabinets (sinks, cabinets, etc) and tearing old tiles and wallboard off the walls.  I'm also getting ready to start ripping up the linoleum and laying things ( Read more... )

   I haven't talked much about the Cross Training Camp last week in Oneonta, but suffice to say I learned a lot.  It came on the heels of some pretty serious emotional realizations, which made it a bit overwhelming to encounter my emotions in poetry.  But I learned so much about myself as a poet, got to meet wonderful people like

So many things were different then.

This video was taken back in November at a party in Holyoke. So much has changed since then - both personally and in life as a whole.

Makes me smile when I remember the good things, so that's what I'm remembering.

...I'm playing at a party, and all are welcome. Only catch? It's in Holyoke, a bit of a drive.

But if you go, there's varied musical entertainment and food/drink. Probably a wildly diverse crowd.
