Farting around on iTunes this morning, and found that they've been updating their catalog again.... And they had The Allies - Emma Peel! (One of my all time favorite songs.) Hmm... I wonder if seeing this for the first time back in the 70's was the beginning of my interest in things Japanese? I do know that I owned the soundtrack on vinyl back in the day, and practically wore it out.

Seeking Same
Long time readers of my LJ may have noticed a dearth of photography over the winter... For whatever reason, I've been in a long creative funk. I haven't stressed too much (at least publicly) because these things happen, and eventually they do end. Still on my 'Facebook break' (not that anyone there seems to have noticed), I do miss knowing what my friends and family are up to, but I just can't stand the noise anymore. Not just the same damm repeated memes from everyone either... but all the politics, the outrage of the moment, the constant fear mongering...

Kingdom A&S / weekend wrapup
Went to Kingdom A&S on Saturday, and by the end of the day my brain hurt badly... soooo much good information. Plus plenty of time hanging out and chatting with friends.
Two funny anecdotes...- We stopped by Starbucks on the way out of town, and the lady at the drive up window asked if we were "going to Seattle". The looks of confusion on our faces ( Read more... )

No complaints
Leftover pot roast from Monday's dinner became veggie soup for dinner last night. This means leftover soup for lunch today, and possibly dinner as well.
No complaints from me!

Mold and deckle, first part complete and why it matters so much.
The first part of the mold and deckle (used to make paper) I've been obsessing over all week is finally done and ready for delivery. The papermaker will do some work on it, then it comes back to me for final assembly.
