Well, at least we've got a government now. It's not the one I voted for, but it's better than this impasse we've been at for the last four days. So the government raises the terror alert to 'Severe', which apparently means 'attack is highly likely', but then says there is no intelligence to suggest a terrorist attack is imminent. Which begs the question, why raise the terror alert?

The Law Lords have said that Debbie Purdy does have the right, under Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights, to choose how she dies.
