Active Summer!

This summer is “active summer!” isn’t it?
There’s concert, and there’s drama.

Jun
Matsumoto

Matsumoto Jun’s daily life.

I wake up around 7~8 in the morning, I go for filming, come back at night, prepare for work, go for a bath, sleep… it kinda goes in this kind of pattern. Basically I eat breakfast on the set most of the times. The things I eat on the set, besides things like sandwich or bread, there are more choices of onigiri and bentou.

Matsumoto Jun’s ideal holiday.

I’m not particularly longing for a holiday now though… I’ve already relaxed enough (laugh). Well, wake up around 8am and go for a walk then eat breakfast, tidy up my house, change the atmosphere of my room, do the laundry, clean the tableware. Then I guess it’ll be around 11am after I do all those. I’ll go for a light shower, and prepare to go out. I’ll make appointment with my friends, to have lunch together. We’ll talk about pointless things till about 2~3pm, then I’ll go to the gym to move my body a little, in the evening, I’ll go shopping. Then, I’ll invite another friend to watch movie, have a meal, go home, watch TV, take a bath, read a book, sleep… I guess. By the way, the movie I want to watch now is “Kokuhaku (Confession)”.

Someday in June -  Day of “Himitsu no Arashi-chan!”

I woke up at 8am, left the house at around 9am. I entered the studio, was on stand-by, and participated in a bulletin coverage. There was a crosstalk among the 5 of us, while doing that I ate yogurt and potato & broccoli salad, and a small croquette burger (laugh). We moved to TBS station, and recorded “Himitsu no Arashi-chan!”. In “Mannequin 5” SP Nagase (Tomoya)-kun led the “Umeboshi Keiji” team to come here. (Ikuta) Toma is also around, it was fun. There was also shooting for “Ocha no Mizu Hakase” at the studio next door, I met Morimoto Shintarou-kun. Sometimes the shooting time overlapped you see. He always waited for me outside the studio. Cause he said “good morning!”, I gave him a hug (laugh). He’s so cute~. When all filming finished is was late at night. Then I went home right after, and slept without doing anything else.

Someday in June - Day of drama

There was a filming for the drama “Natsu no Koi wa Nijiiro ni Kagayaku” which will start in July. In the morning, I went into the studio for stand-by. That day the filming was done in the midst of a lot of extras (background actors), so the estimated time was pretty long. Filming ended 1 hour earlier in an enclosed setting, but since the next scene requires a lot of extras, we acquired more time for stand-by. Meanwhile I went to eat soba with my manager. Here we wanted to catch the sunset scene, it took up quite a lot of the time, you know since afternoon the extras joined in the acting rehearsals too. Then came the time, we did one last rehearsal before the actual filming. We moved to the another set and without rehearsal, they said “start filming!” (laugh). Filming without rehearsal, though we already had in mind what to do, but I thought it was interesting. The drama filming is quite stimulated though I’ve done it no more than 2 days, seems like the set would be more interesting.

Someday in June - Day of “VS Arashi”

I woke up at around 9am, and went to Fuji TV studio. It so happened that there was the filming of “Dohmoto Kyoudai”, so when we entered the set everyone went to Kinki Kids’ dressing room to greet them. Then I ate while I was on stand-by. This day I had Maguro Yukke rice. Perhaps in this studio, I usually eat soba. Those Sansai soba with Ebiten as topping (laugh). The 1st filming was with “Joker” team. Nishikido (Ryou) and Kaga Takeshi-san came. There were 3 recordings going on in total. Since “5LDK” was also being filmed, the 5 of us went to TOKIO’s dressing room to greet them, and Matsuda (Shouta) appeared as guest in “5LDK” so we stayed to talk a little. The 2nd filming was IKKO-san team. Though it was fun, but this team really wore me out (laugh). The filming ended after a short meeting. I went home and checked my emails with the computer, watch some recorded TV programs, drank 1 of Kirin Green Label, and slept a little after 2am.
