Just a short update, I figure y'all deserve it. The extremely low blood iron level was, in fact, machine error. The only thing wrong with my blood is that it is pissed for having to share the same veins with my cholesterol which is in astronomically high numbers ( Read more... )

Oh and I just lost my job. So I got that going for me. 2 solid months to find another job that pays the same as my previous. Damn I hate job-hunting.

A medical note: A week ago I was told I was borderline anemic. The normal score range lies from 14 to 18 on some scale of iron content. My score was a 9.5. The doctor said at 7, they give transfusions. So I go back in for another visit and another sample of blood. The doctor is concerned that the first result was a lab error and I hope so as well.
