At least it wasn't far to Keman's. He knocked on the door a couple of times then waited for a response. Yes, it would be much better to spend the evening inside and far, far away from anything that might be lurking outside, whether it was in his imagination or not. And if the conversation got awkward or anything came up, he could

"I'm fine, really," he emphasized as he seated himself in an empty chair. "How're you?" He didn't want to add 'after what happened the other night.' It wasn't real, couldn't have been. Even this here and now could simply be a dream.

"Maybe it's best if you lie down then, take it easy for the night," he suggested, careful not to let himself actually mention the magic.

Now he only needed to wait for Logan and Parker to show up, he had a fairly good idea of what he should send them off to do.

Red and blue spider costume. Statesman could already imagine what Recluse would have to say about the costume, but it was refreshing to see a spider wearing something other than red and black, with a various assortment of leather and armor.

Logan appraised the pair. They both definitely looked the part, and part of him almost wished he’d gotten a costume as well, just to fit in with the rest of the Heroes if nothing else. But he knew he didn’t’ really need it. There was no real need to hide his identity here, although there was a certain powerful imagery associated with what the others were wearing.
“Lookin’ good, bub.” He smiled wryly in Cole’s direction. “So now tha’ at least you two look tha part, how’s about we get ta bein’ heroes? Ya got anythin’ specific in min’ fer tonigh’, Cole? We splittin’ up or all rollin’ tagether? Scoutin’ resources or savin’ damsels in distress? Or somethin’ else entirely?” He was eager to get going. There’d been too many wasted nights already, even though he’d been here less than a ( ... )

It looked like Logan was pretty eager to get going, which he could understand, but he couldn't let that happen just yet. Part of him really did want to show off, even though he might end up making the man feel kind of jealous since he didn't have his own costume.
The only thing that soured it was the fact that they were going to see "Cole" - which meant that his outfit was going to be revealed to that man. Then again, there wasn't much hope of keeping all of that a secret as far as Statesman went, so he was just going to have to accept it. From now on he could keep Peter Parker and Spider-man separate.
"Hold on," he said, as he stood up and walked over to the closet. "I've got something to show you." He opened the closet doors and started to pull the outfit off its hangar.

The intercom announcement caught his attention briefly. That woman again. Everyone dies, huh? Yeah, not on my watch, darlin'.
"Alrigh', but don' take too long, we're wastin' time here." His eyes followed Parker as he moved to the closet. As soon as he caught the faintest glimpse of that all-too-familiar red and blue, he almost burst out laughing. Where'd that come from? "Heh, better watch what ya say wit' that on. I reckon 'bout half tha people here're gonna know who ya are. So much fer yer 'anonymity'." He'd have to wait for Parker to get dressed before anything could be done. Statesman had mentioned something about a 'uniform' himself, perhaps he'd also gotten the costume he wore when fighting crime.

So he didn't hesitate to slip out of the uniform he had been wearing the past few days and pull something more comfortable (for him, anyway) on. The mask came last, of course, and while it was a little stifling, it was familiar.
He felt almost like a different person - and he was, in a way. "That's better, right?" he called over, trying to alter his voice slightly (not that it worked very well). Still, he sounded more confident.

It looked as though the younger man was about ready to go, so he turned and stepped into the hallway, scanning for Statesman and spotting him almost immediately. "Come on, uh...Spiderman. Clock's tickin'." He'd have to remember not to call him 'Parker' whilst he was wearing that thing.

And waiting.
After a short period of leaning against a wall with flashlight off, it was becoming faintly worrisome. Well, perhaps his roommate had also gotten some clothes in bright primary colors to change into and was a slower dresser..?

"Excuse me?" he asked. "I'm sorry to bother you, but do you know where they take the patients they take from the rooms? I ask because my roommate was taken tonight and he's only a little boy." Admittedly, Phibrizzo appeared not so much younger than Quatre had been when he first got into Sandrock, but the ex-Gundam pilot was worried because his roommate acted so innocent and scared so much. He had tried to help when the nurses had come, but there was little he could do.
Quatre could not see Xelloss very well, and he didn't shine the light directly onto the man, but he hoped that there was at least a little bit of information that could be given to him. He couldn't let them who he thought was just a little child without doing something.

"Thank you for your information," he said. "Do you know the quickest way to get upstairs?" Quatre and his comrades had really only been concerned with getting outside since they had found themselves here, he hadn't really discovered how to get upstairs. He had his own map from Renji, but perhaps this stranger knew a quicker way.

Now, it was just him and Roger. Hugging the bear tightly, Bridget stepped out into the darkness and risked a flash from his light.
