At least it wasn't far to Keman's. He knocked on the door a couple of times then waited for a response. Yes, it would be much better to spend the evening inside and far, far away from anything that might be lurking outside, whether it was in his imagination or not. And if the conversation got awkward or anything came up, he could

Logan appraised the pair. They both definitely looked the part, and part of him almost wished he’d gotten a costume as well, just to fit in with the rest of the Heroes if nothing else. But he knew he didn’t’ really need it. There was no real need to hide his identity here, although there was a certain powerful imagery associated with what the others were wearing.
“Lookin’ good, bub.” He smiled wryly in Cole’s direction. “So now tha’ at least you two look tha part, how’s about we get ta bein’ heroes? Ya got anythin’ specific in min’ fer tonigh’, Cole? "I want the two of you to check the second floor, and rescue them if you can. I have another problem to take care of." With his orders dispensed, Marcus went on his way.

“Alrigh’, bub, we’re on it. Let ya know what we fin’ out.” Whilst he hadn’t been around the entirety of the first floor of this place yet, it made a certain amount of sense that they’d have more room for ‘medical’ facilities upstairs, since it seemed that entire area was off-limits to patients during the day. He turned to Parker again after the taller man had left them. “You seen any stairs ‘roun’ this place? Figure we gotta at least start by gettin’ outta this block.” He slipped the knife out from the back of his pants and swung it into the familiar position flush against his forearm, and moved off down the hallway, following the direction Cole had gone to the only available exit.
