We are having glorious weather. It is dry and sunny, with daytime temps of about 20C. It is TT Practice Week (click here for info about TT), and there are already about an extra 15,000 people here on the small island ( Read more... )

This week involved quite a lot of cake... My total output for the TT festival was 290 portions, of which 90 were carrot cake. But there are pictures of other things!

I am currently spending each day baking, shopping, going to church for 5pm to cut and wrap cake, set up, and then serve hot drinks and snacks until about 9.00pm, clear up, come home by about 9.45, eat dinner watch the Pointless S2C recorded earlier with him, and then going to bed - rinse and repeat ( Read more... )

Last week was the TT Festival -and, as usual, I spent much of my time helping make and sell sandwiches, drinks and cakes at church.
