It's not fair
I don't know what to do. My poor husband hasn't seen his father in about 7 years. He spoke to him today on the phone and when he got off it was easy to see he was depressed. He said "My father is going to die and I'll end up living my life full of regret." It broke my heart. I'm at a loss to help him. I've suggested he go and we use the credit card ( Read more... ) -

Angst
My 13 year old daughter has already learnt the terrible joy of the angst. She's been reading the Mortal Instruments series and she's been emotional about it, even crying. I'm not sure if I'm proud or concerned. :-) -

There is a very slight, tiny shred of light that might save us. It means a massive pay cut but at least it might get us through Christmas. The meeting hubby had was based on how the company is losing money and how they need to save it. So, hubby got a letter handed to him from his boss today. He's to attend a meeting in two days with some HR lady to discuss his position in the company. There is a possibility that his job might be "dis-established" O_o yep, looks like hubby might be losing his job. I can't explain just how devastating this is.
