Every second that passes is another moment closer to me shipping out.  I'm at work and just got finished watching Jarhead, and it completely disgusts me how many women cheat or disappear entirely when their men are defending their country.  I know, men cheat, too.  I'm well aware it goes both ways, but one way affects me more than the other ( Read more... )

Such a good song.  Have it on repeat, but I have to be careful not to listen to it too much.  I've come to realize that when I find music I like, I play it over and over and over and over again and then I get sick of it to a point where I never want to hear it again and it just gets skipped over whenever it starts up on my playlist.

With all the working out I've been doing, and hanging out with the girlfriend everyday for the past two weeks, and trying to satisfy my video game addiction on very little time, and going to the MInnesota Zoo and having staring contests with the prairie dogs, and trying to memorize the 3,281,039 things from my Marine Corps handbook that I'll need ( Read more... )

I've been sworn into the Marine Corps and will be shipping out to boot camp December 3rd.  It's nice to finally be finished with all of that paperwork and testing and being able to fully focus on preparing myself for...  Well, a hell that'll be lasting for over 13 weeks and more than likely will be the hardest thing I'll experience throughout my ( Read more... )
