Sunday May 28th we are planning an adult only BBQ/party. Sadly the cost of a pig roast has left us to go another way, but still the party remains. It will be that evening, but no time has been set yet. Well be providing burgers, chicken, hot dogs, buns, condiments, and some fixins. Hell probably some sides as well. Well the baby's been sick since Friday last week and though the vomit has slowed she's still running a fever and not feeling good. Today I had the not so fun time of taking her to the Doctor who had me take her to Children's Medical Center for blood work and some other tests. Some of you know that I've been working on losing weight and so far it's been kickass and have lost 21lbs since January1 and another 20 on top of that since last summer. That's more than two of my kids weigh, independantly of course! However with still a target of 27 more lbs to go it's bumming me out that for the past week and a half I have not ( Read more... )

Just finished the first season of 24 on DVD, and it was awesome! Save for the one death right in the end! That was not cool. However the ins and outs were great! Plus Keifer Sutherland had the dad, husband, and badass roles all played well ( Read more... )

Ok so it's a bit after the weekend ended, but needed the recovery day. Saturday morning was spent playing with the kids and doing some laundry. We also got our new headboard though my impromptu leg supports made from 6" lengths of 2X4 are just not gonna cut it. So we might be getting the footboard too.
