Just finished the majority of bathroom number2 this past weekend. Only thing left is small stuff like towel racks and a floor transition. 2 weekends and the master bath and half bath are done.
The half bath was not all that hard as most of the wallpaper was already taken down and the toilet, sink and mirror were all going back in. Only had to lay floor and paint pretty much and with this new ceramic stuff that Lowes has makes tile a snap! It's got a brand name of Edge and it kicks ass. Underlayment like Pergo, cut the tile(which has a wood backer board), snap them in, grout(premixed in can that you dispense like whipped cream), and bam! You're done! Still it took two very long days per bathroom and fortunately was using the same shower stall in the masterbath so that meant no drywall work for me! All good.
Best of all the wife loves her new bathroom! She called it her dream bathroom. Bonus!
Well off to relax rub my sore muscles and enjoy the new, ahem, facilities.
