Benjy passed away this morning. I'd been up most of the night with him, trying to get water and food into him. He became very ill late last night and I guess he just couldn't do it this time.

So what kind of snacks do you guys feed your Chinchillas?
Mine really likes Alfalfa, peanuts and popcorn without the husks.
But I was just wondering what else you guys give yours so I could give mine a few extra treats!

Hello. I am wondering what is the longest anyone has ever left their chins alone at a time? I am going out of town for the long weekend over the holiday and was wondering if I just left enough food in the cage w/ a filled water bottle if they would be ok? They don't consume their pellets very quickly, but they mow down their hay pretty fast ( Read more... )
