What's the best diet dog food to give a chi? Chico needs to lose some weight.

I had posted a while ago in a few communities asking about dog food for my two Chihuahuas and up coming new dog (Great Dane) later this year.  I was debating about going to either Solid Gold or Chicken Soup.  I had a few recommendations and went out today searching.  This is what one lady in the store said to me.

which is best, Innova Evo kibble, or Innova Evo canned? I always thought they were the same, but a friend of mine told me that the kibble isn't nearly as good for them and is basically not good for them at all, just like the other commercial brands(iams, ect). what do you think? Well, Rusty is doing fine on the Innova Evo, but Tori is not. Apparently (I wasn't home, but my boyfriend was) she had a big runny poop on the floor of the kitchen, then she tried to poop for 20 minutes outside (no go), and threw up twice. This has to be related to the food--she hasn't had anything else new--and she's always had a sensitive tummy. ( Read more... )
