So I'm sitting in a hotel room in Indiana completely unable to sleep due to a combination of the HVAC unit being made from recycled jet engines and the security lighting sneaking through the blinds of my exterior-facing room. I just want to say, from my phone, from a completely different state, drunk, that life is complicated in more ways that can properly be lamented from one's native language. I've been trying to figure you out for years.
This weekend I was presented with the opportunity to do some people watching, which I haven't been able to do in quite some time. It sounds weird, but I miss having the chance to watch peoples' body language and eye movement, and peg their intents and desires. In the span of 12 days, I've pretty much come full circle in this hellish little situation I've gotten myself into. But that's okay, because I've managed to work out a compromise with myself that I'm somewhat pleased with.
