Yet another inwardly directed rant...

I've been thinking a lot lately in my spare time. In fact, I actually ended up having a little heart to heart with Ashley last night. I was thinking about my life as it is right now.

On the up and up:

• Job - I fucking love it. I couldn't be happier
• Relationship - It's going pretty well, with a few exceptions
• "Home life" - I haven't really talked with

Problem is, alot of people are afraid that if they are brutally honest with a person, then that person will not like them. If someone doesn't like you then you will not have as much influence on that person, and thus less power. Some people are better at the charade than others.

On the other side, some people become really insecure if a person does not like them because that person would have a motive to be against you. So for mental security people try to act nice regardless of what they REALLY think of you.

it's fucking bullshit.
