2011's been a very busy year for a lot of people, myself and you included, and as a result I think we've not managed to talk as much as we did last year, I am sorry for this!! ;__; Hopefully by 2012, things would've calmed down for all of us at large, then we'll definitely be able to talk more. I always enjoy reading your tweets because you're fun, and of course, I hope things get even better in 2012. There'll be tough times and the good times, I just hope we'll remain friends through all that regardless of how much contact we have next year!

Ok Lorelei, we need to have a talk because your goals from last year ended up something like the Mark Reads ASOIAF Predictions. :C And that is just sad.

First, let's talk about the good things. 2011 was a pretty successful year in ways that you absolutely did not expect. I'm so happy that you now get to focus on your writing almost 100%, that people are actually willing to pay you to write, and for all the support and advice you got this year. You've come such a long way in maturing from where you were at this time last year. Last December, I don't think you were even half the person I am today. Defeat and utter failure were humiliating and hurtful, but they really opened your eyes and I think all the failures of 2010 are what made you so much stronger in 2011.

I finally understand now what you didn't years ago. I finally understand what it means to work hard, to push myself to the limits and feel that wonderful feeling when I really achieve something. I know how to do more things for myself, to not expect the worst (all the time,

2012!Lore, you have big shoes to fill. 2011!Lore is pretty damn cool. But I'm sure that you can do it. Some serious and not-so-serious things I hope happened in 2012:

♡ The world didn't end, I hope.
♡ You learned more Japanese. Better do that quick because Beyond the Future is shipping today...
♡ You and Auro finished Break Chance Memento. I hope it was successful and more than 25 people bought the game. XD But if only 25 people bought it, that's alright, too. At least you recouped your losses!
♡ You and Auro finished R******nte. I hope Pierre was awesome.
♡ You finished writing the script for Amber's Magic Shop and Jack got an amazing new artist for the project.
♡ You ... well, finished something else, too. GOD SO MUCH VISUAL NOVEL STUFF. 2011!Lore got herself a huge pile of work! 8| Maybe you and Lain can finish World of Two (or at least make good progress on it) or you and Auro can somehow also finish Red Snow.
