First, let's talk about the good things. 2011 was a pretty successful year in ways that you absolutely did not expect. I'm so happy that you now get to focus on your writing almost 100%, that people are actually willing to pay you to write, and for all the support and advice you got this year. You've come such a long way in maturing from where you were at this time last year. Last December, I don't think you were even half the person I am today. Defeat and utter failure were humiliating and hurtful, but they really opened your eyes and I think all the failures of 2010 are what made you so much stronger in 2011.
I finally understand now what you didn't years ago. I finally understand what it means to work hard, to push myself to the limits and feel that wonderful feeling when I really achieve something. I know how to do more things for myself, to not expect the worst (all the time, anyway), and that not everybody is out to get me. Shocking, I know. I'm so proud of you for being able to go up to school and talk to your advisors calmly without crying and getting hysterical. That was not possible for you before this year. 2010!Lore, you really went a long way to get to where I am today. It was a very long journey and you made a lot of mistakes, but I think it was worth it. No, I'm sure it was worth it.
The thing is, my journey isn't over yet. Have I come a long way? Yes. Am I there yet? No. I'm still not fully mature. I'm still very selfish at times, have a pretty defeatist attitude, and I'm still awful at managing my money. I'm still messy. I'm still undisciplined when it comes to diet and exercise. (though this year you stuck to the paleo diet for almost 6 months straight, which is pretty cool) I still procrastinate when it comes to school stuff.
It's time for the rest of your and my life to begin. 2012 means that I'm back at UTD with a new set of classes and hopefully a new major in my future. 2012 means I need to finish Break Chance Memento and hopefully at least two other projects, as well. 2012 means I need to learn how to manage my time even better and not start skipping class just because I don't feel like going.

♡ You and Auro finished Break Chance Memento. I hope it was successful and more than 25 people bought the game. XD But if only 25 people bought it, that's alright, too. At least you recouped your losses!

♡ You finished writing the script for Amber's Magic Shop and Jack got an amazing new artist for the project.

GOD SO MUCH VISUAL NOVEL STUFF. 2011!Lore got herself a huge pile of work! 8| Maybe you and Lain can finish World of Two (or at least make good progress on it) or you and Auro can somehow also finish Red Snow. I hope you and Auro started on the sw** game. I hope you and Airi did some more work on Machina Jewel, too. Ah, the one that started it all...
♡ You made good grades after getting back into university. You didn't skip too many classes. I know you have two 8:30AM classes during the spring 2012 semester, but come on.
♡ You finished watching the other Natsume seasons. The Hunter x Hunter reboot was (is still?) amazing. Speaking of HxH, did Gon wake up yet in the manga? OMG PLEASE DON'T TELL ME TOGASHI WENT ON HIATUS AGAIN. I WILL KILL SOMEBODY. 8|||!!! I hope you finally finished watching the last couple of Inazuma Eleven episodes. And get on Go stat because guuuurl Maeno is in that anime. )8 Resist Lain's attempts to get you to watch Sekaiichi for as long as you can. I know it's hard. Do it for posterity.
♡ I hope the Hakuouki localization wasn't full of Okita's barks of laughter. I hope After Winter finally came out and was amazing even with Mamo in it. I hope UtaPuri Debut was absolutely awesome and I know that you're probably even more obsessed with Tattsun now, but please try to keep it down. It's embarrassing. I hope Mass Effect 3 was THE BEST omg did you and Garrus get it on??? /)_(\ Dude what other games are coming out TOO MANY GAMES I hope you played a lot of otome games this year, too!
♡ I cannot think of anything else right now but I hope you were happy in 2012 and made new friends and got out of the house more and maybe fell in love with someone. If you did fall for someone, I hope it worked out. You really deserve to have something work out. Oh yeah, and get back on the paleo diet and stick to it. Grains are evil. 8(
DO NOT MESS THIS UP, OKAY? I will be facepalming so much if I open this capsule in a year and it turns out I didn't meet any of my goals. (okay that probably won't happen but come on)
