First, let's talk about the good things. 2011 was a pretty successful year in ways that you absolutely did not expect. I'm so happy that you now get to focus on your writing almost 100%, that people are actually willing to pay you to write, and for all the support and advice you got this year. You've come such a long way in maturing from where you were at this time last year. Last December, I don't think you were even half the person I am today. Defeat and utter failure were humiliating and hurtful, but they really opened your eyes and I think all the failures of 2010 are what made you so much stronger in 2011.
I finally understand now what you didn't years ago. I finally understand what it means to work hard, to push myself to the limits and feel that wonderful feeling when I really achieve something. I know how to do more things for myself, to not expect the worst (all the time, ( ... )

I know we haven't talked much this year, but I hope we stay friends and I'm able to see the coming events for you. You've accomplished so much this year and I am so proud of you. I hope that you reach for the stars and keep on, because I know that you can do so much.

This will be pretty awkward since we haven't talked much, perhaps 2012 will change that, who knows. But since I'm making it a point to leave a note for everyone I'll go on.
It looks like you've set your goals for 2012 and I hope you can achieve them. This may sound presumptuous from me but even doing just one of them is an accomplishment, so don't be too hard on yourself. Keep looking forward and all the best!

we've been friends since 2011 and i'm glad i met you :D you're one of the people whom i always look up to whenever i want to make myself more determined. i adore that you're such hardworking and you're working on games!! how exciting! the best of luck for you in whatever you do and hope you had an awesome 2012 :)
