My floor kicks ass. We raised over $1000 in less than a week for the Red Cross. Tulaners are coming tomorrow. yay!

PS-my anth prof wore a dress today with a pink polo shirt underneath it, and the collar was POPPED on the shirt. The guy next to me had a hard time focusing since popped collars to him are like the same as a tag sticking up to me.

Today was a good day. Took a beautiful nap (two and half hours) had interesting classes, it was pretty out, went belly dancing for the frist time in a year (as in i took a class). Yesterday I ran the outer loop (3 miles) and was did it in about 40 minutes when i walked part of the way too, and was barely sore today. I will be in much pain ( Read more... )

Flaming dr peppers are so cool! One of the floors did them at Jones as part of a fundraiser for the disaster relief. People here are being so amazing in their support. My poor friend teddy said that though his house didn't sustain any interior damage, that his neighborhood was getting looted and run by gangs, and his dad went to New Orleans ( Read more... )

I miss Trader Joe's! This has been inspried in part by two events in the servery this week. First, yesterday. A beautiful beautiful thing happened. There was avacado in the servery. 1.75 inches of rain last night starting after 11 pm and ending before 2am. Not sure the exact times. There was thunder and lightening, and the streets were flooding. Weiss sucked last night. They were hosting the first party of the year, but due to a lack of good music and a crackdown on the alcohol policy (boo!) there was no dancing and people were just standing around. Went all the way across campus to my anth class today, when i finally got there, found a sign and a bunch of confused freshmen wondering where Sewell Hall was.
