OKAY, sorry for not closing and getting a post up earlier this afternoon. I had a minor disagreement with the kitchen sink and it regurgitated all over the floor and I had to clean away the ROTTEN MOLDY TURKEY BROTH AND SEWAGE SMELL. My dogs - who are perfectly intelligent and didn't take the opportunity to roll around on the floor or anything -

So! You've got an interesting character. I dig the character. I just didn't dig the app. It felt kinda canon-reliant and like it was more about your backstory than camp itself. That was my big problem with it, really.

Kudos to you for apping him, and I'll try not to hold your anime-only status against you. XD The app is short.. but that being said, I think you did a good job with it. It's not an easy thing to app someone like him, and I can hear his voice in the little bit you wrote. It lacked in funny, but Shino is generally a straight man-type, with random bouts of dry humor, which makes bringing the funny even more difficult. I think you can carry him in the rp. In.

Judging by the way things look, I can catch up on the manga now! I haven't seen much of Shino in the manga after the time jump (only read up to... ch. 289). Why, oh why!?

Thank you for the advice. It was difficult making the 100 word min. in the first place, so I apologize it came up so short. It didn't feel right for Shino to... ramble. But it appears that's the main problem. I'll try again next time. With more funny, if I can manage it.

If you've seen him at all post skip... you've seen all of it. As of the current chapter, he hasn't shown again, and neither have his teammates. :/

I understand why it was so short, and I agree, he's not the type to ramble. Perhaps more actiony type things next go-around? Though that's not exactly easy, either.

Good luck on your next shot - don't give up, I think you've got his voice, now it's just a matter of refining it for the app!

Darn, then I have nothing to look forward to. *weeps* The fillers I trudge through in hopes of seeing Shino more, but after the last episode where he got it semi-to-himself...
