On an upside, here's a thought...I read an article from either EW or tvline (? I think it was one of those) that had the spoiler bullet point at the end of something about four times...if there is a possible reconciliation at this point it would be the 4th one...thought I'd throw out something hopeful since my last post was negative...lol
Saw that too. There was nothing else written but "four times" in that bullet point. And thinking back that's the only thing that makes sense. And the coyness of it is what made me think of them. Still going into it with no expectations but that article did resignate with me.
I dont know what to expect, because they episode still had to be edited by shonda so goodness knows what we will be left with. As you said it renders the custody case pointless if the whole thing just ends with them agreeing on split custody again.
Im not expecting a full reconcilliation in the finale but i would be happy to be left with something positive which shows thats what we are getting next season. Because i agree with you idamt take another season 12 again and watch one or both with othet people. I think now is the right time to pull the trigger and start them on their way back to each other with no one else involved
I can't imagine the Shonda editing thing having to do with Calzona because I think they only have one scene as is. But even so, the editing must've been done before this apparent screening, so spoilers would remain true. I think the show realizes that it's now or never with them.
I never when these screenings happen tbh. And your right if there is only one calzona scene she would have to leave that in. No point in deleting the only one with them.
And thats what ive been saying its now or never in starting to get them back together. I still dont want to get my hopes too high because then i cant be dissapointed. I am positive dont getme wrong. I would rather be pleseantly surprised though
I'm torn on what to think about the scene where Callie speaks being referred to as a bit of a "doozy", why Sofia is "asking why mommy (Callie) is so sad", and also the fact that it addresses "Callie's status and where she stands with Arizona
( ... )
Well I think we can all agree why Callie has been sad. Even if you're not outright sad, kids tend to pick up on these things. So when Arizona hears about this, it may get her thinking about things. Nobody wants to see their child seeing the other parent upset or unhappy & I can imagine that no matter what has happened between them, Arizona would want to fix it because it's what's best for Sofia. I think that whole "impact" of the custody battle is obviously Sofia & how it's affecting her as well as them as a unit.
I can't see a blindside in which Arizona has had some secret love this whole time. And a beautiful payoff of them getting to a point where they were before would be a huge letdown.
I think, yet again, Calzona will be the cliff and they will play with whether Callie is or isn't going to New York. Based on all of the spoilers and speculation I've read today, once Arizona realizes Callie is sad I think she will need to fix it, hence Arizona finding a bit more grace for Callie.
Arizona's assumption is that Callie is sad because of Penny. So Arizona will come up with a way they can share custody that will allow Callie to go to New York if that is what she still wants.
This is positive for calzona in the sense that Sofia and proximity cannot be the reason Callie ends up with Arizona. Callie can't be there because she feels stuck. Callie needs to make a definitive choice.
If Arizona gives this to Callie then what? Either we learn now that this isn't what Callie wants. Or we wait to discover that next season. Or Sara leaves. At the end of the day, if Callie stays in Seattle she is picking Arizona imo.
Agreed. If shes given a way she can have both sofia and new york in her life, then she doesnt need to stay in seattle because of sofia as this is a non issuse now. So if ahe decides to stay it can only be for arizona at that point
