I'm getting the aids memorial ribbon with my uncle's name in it. He died of AIDS 16 years ago.

I am a brat. Either that or my sense of self is developing. I just feel that if we have community showers when we go on spike, I should be allowed to shower naked like a normal person. I find myself questioning my purpose, wondering why I'm here and if anyone cares.

I'm feeling depressed right now and could use some prayer. I'm not sure what I'm depressed about however. I think it has something to do with social stuff. I'm still having a lot of trouble adjusting to a group.

I got my virgin mobile minutes paid for tonight. I am very happy. My minutes switched over yesterday and I topped up my phone on Saturday but I bought a couple of ringtones and forgot about tax! So I ended up being a couple of dollars short. But I'm ok now ( Read more... )

I am glad to see a community that's about Libera. I love that group and I think their sounds are so pure and crystal like.

I am so inflexible and I know that's why I don't have a lot of friends (other than the fact that I really don't like hanging out with other people very much). We had an All-corps picnic today and they served Boca Burgers. How gross is that? I was told that they were told that 75% of us would be vegan or vegetarians. Yesterday we had our PT baselines which I hated. We had to run a mile around the track in the heat and then do as many pushups and situps as we could in one minute. I sucked horribly on the mile, 19:56. It was in the hottest part of the day and my asthma kicked in. And, my team leader told everyone to start running before I was ready to go.
