So my Friday trip to the doctor
In the USA our wonderful health care system
$30 + previously unpaid $30 owed so $60.
Then $29.52 for the decongestant and prescription cough syrup.
Because I didn't trust myself with driving while sick $15.58 for the Lyft drive to Baylor $6.95 for the Lyft drive from Baylor to a Tom Thumb pharmacy nearby. (I didn't walk because I wasn't feeling well ( Read more... ) -
Bud Lakey update!
TCAP referred me to Mercy Animal Clinic, a low cost clinic in North Garland. Wow, that was a drive.
They did a blood test, and while he is heartworm positive, it's mild. So 30 days of being kept calm, quiet, no exercise. And 4 pills a day. Yea.
Treatment cost me only $116! Whoop.
Now I just have to keep up with the pills everyday.

Bud the lost dog
So, way back in the spring, I found this dog.
I assumed that he was just lost, and it would be quick to reunite him with his human(s).
I still have this dog. Irving Animal Services, (through which he was adopted) doesn't really want to take him back.
I took him to TCAP for vaccination, because I don't have money. Well, he was positive for heartworm. ( Read more... ) -

I don't know what to say. I have neglected this journal for a while.
So, I have been fostering cats for Texas Pawprints. Back in February, I was asked to take in a pregnant cat. I was thinking, "aww cute kittens."
OMG, they are a lot of work, and they eat like hungry teenagers.

I desperately need money. I had bills come in, but my paycheck is likely wiped out thanks to bank fees. I need to get anti-flea stuff for my foster cats.

Last Call for lost dog
Last call for lost dog Bud.
He was adopted through Irving Animal Services. I have his chip number, but his owner has a privacy block on their information. IAS has tried contacting Bud's humans, to no avail.
So I am putting out a "Last Call". If I get no response back by this weekend, I am either contacting a bully rescue or keeping him.

My kittens have fleas!
They have had two Dawn baths Sunday. I have dusted their catio with diatomaceous earth. I also dusted them.
Now the lost dog, Bud, might be sick.
I am feeling a bit overwhelmed now.
I have just started a new job.

No more part time merchandiser
Don't know what it says about me, but instead of going to do American Greetings today, I decided to play hooky and go do laundry instead. I am definitely leaving AG May 31st, so it's like "I don't care about this job anymore!"
