So my Friday trip to the doctor
In the USA our wonderful health care system
$30 + previously unpaid $30 owed so $60.
Then $29.52 for the decongestant and prescription cough syrup.
Because I didn't trust myself with driving while sick $15.58 for the Lyft drive to Baylor $6.95 for the Lyft drive from Baylor to a Tom Thumb pharmacy nearby. (I didn't walk because I wasn't feeling well enough. )
I have BCBS and they have agreements with certain pharmacies, like I can't go to CVS. $19.92 for the ride home.
