Things That Won't Get You Out of the City
  • Dropkicking a dwarf
  • Balancing on six feet of couch cushions
  • Following crazy advice from crazy cursed people (finding a pattern here?)
  • Jumping into the fountain when it's beer
  • --- wait, what??

Dear Santa,

Things I Want for Christmas
  • An unbreakable tablet
  • For my weapon rune to be unsealed

I think it would almost be as popular as ponies!

Make that also unbreakable in my case and I think I would too!

The fountain...is beer?

"Curses" sound so scary. This "dear Santa" thing seems pretty fun. I was expecting something nastier.

Oh, the water likes to turn into random things at times. Or it turns anyone who drinks it into random things. It's become beer quite a few times as well.

The curses have been pleasantly mild lately. Not a jinx.

And people still drink it?

Let's hope they stay that way. I just got here. I need some time to adjust.

Apparently so. I tend not to go anywhere near the stuff myself, but sometimes it gets into all the liquid in the city. Like the time drinking anything had us bouncing off the walls.

December was relatively mild last year, so you may be in luck! Just be careful around midnight?

A squirrel? Riou has a squirrel?

Yes, a flying squirrel called Squirrel. He's around here... somewhere. He likes to hide from me.

[ giggle ] That's a cute name! Did he follow you here?

My sister named him... actually his full name is Squirrel-kun-chan. We got him from a pet store over here. The flying squirrels back home are a lot different.

...Why specifically ponies? I must be missing something.

Well, we used horses for travel back home. I'm not sure why everyone else is asking though. Although someone mentioned that Santa is well known for giving ponies out?

Yes, horses are practical and common where I come from, as well. And I have one, myself. They just never struck me as... a Christmas gift, of all things. I can't recall a single person receiving one that way.

We don't have Christmas back home, but horses don't really strike me as that type of gift either. Rather expensive, for one. But a lot of the things people are asking for today aren't exactly normal gifts either.
