Oh god, I'm dreading doing this because I still haven't made a decision. ;____; I'm just going to have to see what comes into my mind the most while I'm writing this ( ... )

Shuuya to win... theonlyjosh January 26 2009, 14:06:55 UTC
I found myself really understanding everything he was feeling and when it got to the point of knowing Noriko was dead and Yoshi started to play I thought it was logical enough. I'm not sure if the actual killing of Oda was too my liking (although unique XD) but finding Shuuya was the biggest step in personality. Even though the stuff with Yuka/Yutaka was a bit disjointed Lili managed to get past that and I think it worked well up to Shuuya of Yoshi being by himself.

The highlight of Yoshi again is the argument. Seriously, I just could get everything Yoshi meant and it felt that when I was reading it I actually wanted to stick up for him because I understood his anger at Shuuya. All the emotions and actions just seemed right and I praise Lili a lot for this and think her and Gabby work well together. <3 ( ... )

This is going to be tough. Both of these two have been simply amazing; I love what both of them do with words and the way they've created their characters. Erm... I also think they've made the characters very complex; Gabby with a character we think we know already, Lili with a character we hardly know at all. I also really like the way both of them have taken the childhood bond and used it to warp everything so much, and the way their latest posts were both so sad - I really felt for both characters and it got across that neither of them are wholly at fault ( ... )

YEEEEESH. This is honestly one of the closest. votes. ever. In my opinion, at least. At first glance it seems almost obvious that Shuuya should win, but...after thinking things over, I'm not too sure. So I'ma just go over my thoughts and see what happens.

Shuuya has been great all version. Very consistent, very... Very, well, Shuuya. He's exactly the same Shuuya as the one in the novel and, even though there are a lot of similarities to Manga Shuuya, I don't really mind. Gabby has handled him brilliantly.

Nobu got off to a bit of a slow start. The team-up with Yutaka and Yuka didn't go as well as planned, maybe? I dunno'. He definitely picked up pace at an incredible speed, though. Around the time he killed off Oda. At that point we started to see a huge shift in his character, and, y'know, I really felt for him. I can understand where all his insecurities are coming from, they're beautiful and they're real ( ... )
