This is going to be tough. Both of these two have been simply amazing; I love what both of them do with words and the way they've created their characters. Erm... I also think they've made the characters very complex; Gabby with a character we think we know already, Lili with a character we hardly know at all. I also really like the way both of them have taken the childhood bond and used it to warp everything so much, and the way their latest posts were both so sad - I really felt for both characters and it got across that neither of them are wholly at fault.

Looking at the traditionals; I can't think of any major PC control issues. I think Shuuya's interacted more with people than Yoshi has (up until the two met). I do kind of feel that... Shuuya sometimes feels a bit... disconnected from the people he's interacting with? It might be because Shuuya's thoughts are so intensely written that sometimes it feels other characters aren't always making much impact (excluding Yoshi). But this might just be me.

Both characters are very IC; I don't think I can choose between them there. Considering Lili's got much less to work with I think she's doing great and I love her extrapolation from canon.

Shuuya has more backstory - and I really liked the way it was done - but I don't think that on its own should swing a vote, because it's not like Yoshi needed more backstory to explain his actions.

Arrrgh. Okay, I am voting for Yoshi to win. This is an incredibly hard choice and there's practically nothing to choose between them; my reasoning is that I feel Lili has shown a slightly broader range of feelings and behaviours from Yoshi, whereas Shuuya feels like he's got a slightly narrower range. I am only mentioning it because something has to decide this vote, and for me, that's this.

Wonderful work from both of you - I'll be sorry to see either one of you go.
