I was surprised at what a big send off the kids gave me as I left the orphanage.   I'd seen other visitors being sent off, with some of the kids running round the tuktuk.  They gave me a t-shirt and some of the braceletes the kids make, and asked if I would come back.  "One day" I said - and one kid asked..did you say Monday?  Sitha had to explain ( Read more... )

As with any experience, staying at the orphanage hasn't all been happy-perfect-good etc.  The problems are small and don't detract from how great the experience has been to stay here, but I think adding the negative things will help make my blog well rounded ( Read more... )
