As with any experience, staying at the orphanage hasn't all been happy-perfect-good etc.  The problems are small and don't detract from how great the experience has been to stay here, but I think adding the negative things will help make my blog well rounded ( Read more... )

It's getting to the end of my third day on the orphanage.  Yesterday they finished building the kitchen, and the kids took the remaining cement, mixed it up, and used the tools the builders had left behind to mend some of the "porch".   Megan and Joseph volunteer at an orphanage in the Philippines too, and those kids had all prepared a little ( Read more... )
