It could be coffin bone problems, but most likely, it's an abcess. I can't believe it. None of us can. He packed that leg around for SIX DAYS, and would not put any weight on it. Why so long? He wasn't exactly catcheable ( Read more... )

I managed to not only walk up to sprout last night, but catch him today. He's now in a stall, and we've a call into the vet. don't know if she'll come here or we'll trailer to her, but he'll see a vet today or tomorrow - as soon as she's available. I'm home on holidays for 2 weeks, and we were supposed to start Sprout. I was even going to bring Poly home, but have decided that a) it was too much work for everyone involved, and b) knowing my luck, I'd bring him up and he'd get hurt and be unrideable the entire time anyhow ( Read more... )
