I managed to not only walk up to sprout last night, but catch him today. He's now in a stall, and we've a call into the vet. don't know if she'll come here or we'll trailer to her, but he'll see a vet today or tomorrow - as soon as she's available. I've decided it's an abcess and he'll be fine. Wishful thinking... it actually looks like he tore
