Today is apparently processed-food day. So far consumed, 10 oz of Coke, 1 package frosted cherry Pop Tarts, and a box of frozen Chinese food which is probably the single-most salty food-thing I've eaten in my life. I have to prepare something from scratch today for dinner before I turn myself into a pickle.

This book sounds hilarious, especially for those with (occasionally painfully) Southern roots.

So, I'm biting the bullet and attempting to learn Flash in my downtime at work (rather than obsessively reading food blogs, my default form of amusement aside from gmail and LJ, as well as Salon and the news ( Read more... )

I found a British recipe for Chili con Carne via a Vietnamese food blog, and my Texan self feels a little dirty for admitting it, but it sounds pretty darn tasty, and I'll likely try it before too long.
