Nothing too exciting on tap for the day. I've been working my way through a large pile of laundry, and started needed spring cleaning. I've got Harry Potter movies playing in the background.

Writer's Block: Play Catch
This is a silly question for a cat owner. If the cats had thumbs I'd be locked out of house and home.Cats are smart little buggers. The only reason they keep humans around is because of cans. Without thumbs they can't get the can to open. Add in thumbs and it's Katie bar the door.

Fix yer pets people
So I took in an emergency foster over the weekend. She had gotten very scared and upset in her previous foster and stopped eating. She's a 5 year old momma kitty who started freaking out and thumping her kittens.
She's on the mend after a couple days of calm and quiet. She will be spayed before placing her.

Life is too short for black jelly beans. It's also too short for fountain pen ink colors that I don't like. I've cleaned my pen out three times today.

In March of 1992, the neighbor's cat had kittens. Two of them came across the street to live with us. One of them was a tiny black ball of fluff with white paws. My brother and I named her Spatz, after her paws. (Spats are those white covers you sometimes see to black shoes ( Read more... ) -
The Great Pen Experiment
So after several years of whibbling back and forth, this weekend I bit the bullet and decided to buy a genuine you need to stick ink in it fountain pen. I've been fascinated with cool pens for as long as I can remember. Some early experiments with cheap pens in my youth didn't work out so well.
